D. Gray-man is the best comic book in the world. The writer is Katura Hoshino. There are twenty-four books. It is a very good story.

The main characters are Allen, Kanda, and LAvi. They are exorcists. Allen helps the devil. Allen is a humanitarian and good-looking. Kanda is cool, handsome, and strong. Lavi is very smart and funny.

The enemy kills people. The boss of the enemies is senmen hakushaku. Senmen means one thousand, and hakashaku means Earl.
The story is very interesting! Let’s read D. Gray-man!

Winter in Japan

Now, a post from a group of 3rd year students about winter in Japan.

We are team Usagi from Iwate in Japan. We would like to tell you about winter in Japan.

Christmas - Christmas is a very exciting day. We like to decorate the Christmas tree. Also, we like to eat Christmas cake. We celebrate by eating a lot. Children are given a gift from Santa.

Winter activities – In a snowball fight, people are hit. Skiing is fun on a snowy slope. Skating is slippery on top of the ice. Snowmen are cute! A “kamakura” is a big snow house.

Food – I will introduce Japanese foods to represent the winter. I think good things to eat at home this cold season are “oden” and tangerines. Oden is a good home food. Lawson’s oden is exceptionally delicious. I have not had it yet, but I want to eat it. As for tangerines, please be careful not to eat too many or you will get yellow hands. Also, remember that it is winter and eating too much food can be bad for your health.

New Year’s – On New Year’s, we go to visit a shrine in the morning. I eat rice cakes on the morning of the New Year. Also, New Year’s cards arrive. We get money from grandparents.

Thank you for reading about winter in Japan. How is winter in your country?
